Instead of going for high end phones, Sprint and LG have teamed up to launch the LG Rumor 2 phone which essentially provides all the high end features of a smart phone at a budget. The LG Rumor 2 features a slider QWERTY design and other features from the first generation model like 1.3-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and more. Sprint said that this new model would feature easy access to Microsoft Exchange Server and IBM Lotus Notes accounts via Sprint Mobile Email Work. The phone is a music lover’s device featuring a microSD card slot that can accommodate 16GB of storage.

LG Rumor 2 would go on sale online from March 15 and will be offered in two shades of “titanium black” and “vibrant blue.” It would be available in retail stores from next month, selling for $50 with a two-year contract.
