Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) has developed interactive multi-input panel which allows users to control games such as Warcraft III. It uses an array of antennaes embedded in the touch surface. Basically, a receiver connected to each user’s chair, gets signals from antennas near the touch point. The tables are available in 32 and 42 inch sizes.

Possible uses of the technology range from tactical map manipulation and business collaboration to parlor games, but we see a real future in gaming.
